**Founder and Background of Shri Nandeesh B. Shettar:**
Shri Nandeesh B. Shettar hails from Ranebennur, Haveri District, born on July 19, 1991, as the second son of Basavanand and Vijaya. He completed his primary education at Vivekananda School and his secondary education at Gupta High School in Ranebennur. He pursued his PUC in Commerce at Hosamani Siddappa College and later earned his BBA degree at the Government First Grade College. Additionally, he has undertaken specialized training in mentoring and coaching in Shivamogga and Mysore.
**Foundation and Core Purpose of the Institute:**
Established in 2015-16, the Nandeeshwara Skill Development Institute was founded with the vision of sharing valuable insights to empower students and youth. The institute aims to equip them with essential life skills, study techniques, exam preparation strategies, cognitive management, and leadership skills to effectively tackle challenges in daily life. The institute's mission is to guide every individual toward success, happiness, and a sense of responsibility to lead society with expertise and awareness.
**Services and Achievements: Personal and Professional Skills Training:**
Since the academic year 2015-16, the institute has conducted over 550 specialized skill development camps focused on enhancing morale, reaching 46 educational districts and 224 taluks across the state. These camps have benefited over 448,000 students, teachers, parents, and officials. Since 2016-17, the Karnataka State Government's Department of Women and Child Development, through the Karnataka State Child Development Academy, has provided funding to support SSLC training camps aimed at reducing exam anxiety for government school students. The institute has also received private donations to further its mission.
